Stayed and ate here in mid-September on our hike along the Camino de Santiago. Was by far the most convincing meal in Thuringia in terms of both taste and appearance. The service was just as impressive due to its friendliness and professionalism. You can tell that people work here with love and commitment despite full capacity. If you want exceptionally prepared home-style food, this is the right place. Big compliments to the cook !!! Comfortably furnished (including an excellent hygiene concept), very nice service. Wonderful beer garden. There's nothing to complain about here.

Very nice ambience in half-timbered style. Smaller but varied menu with regional cuisine. The dumplings are a poem and the beef roulade was tender and lean. Gladly again!

The location is nice, if not spectacular. The food was good, only the pumpkin soup was unfortunately not really good and tasted pretty pale

As a family with grandma, child and dog, we came to this restaurant by chance. The welcome was very friendly, everything was very clean and we got a nice table. The food was just great. Regardless of whether beef roulade, Thuringian dumplings, game ragout, Wiener Schnitzel or bratwurst, everything is delicious and a real treat. Add an Augustiner wheat from the barrel, and the world was all right. The hygiene rules were also perfectly complied with. We will be back definitely!

After a long search, I finally found a restaurant that still had a table free at lunchtime. Very nice service, great outside seat and good food. I can only recommend it.

One of the few restaurants that effectively implements the distance requirements in corona times. Nice beer garden, unfortunately the season was already over when we visited.

The location is nice, the service was ok, but could have been friendlier. The wild herbs were missing from the wild herb salad and the leaves were floating in a boring dressing. The price was too high for the quality. The hearty dishes are definitely better.

First of all the food was excellent and very rich! The nice lady who served was also extremely quick and very pleasant. Only the unfriendly greeting at the beginning is 1 point deducted. You shouldn't greet guests so unwelcome. And there were only two of us and we had reservations.

I actually wanted to have a crust roast, but it was over. What I got was the best liver I have ever eaten. Service was very good and friendly. Gladly 5 stars

We were in Eisenach for 2 days and ate in the stork's nest both evenings. Everything was delicious and the service attentive and super nice! Particular strengths were the Thuringian food and the beautiful ambience!

We were in the outside area of ​​the restaurant. The beer garden was inviting and in a nice atmosphere. The staff was very friendly too. However, you should bring time. We had to wait a little longer for both the starter and the main course. Personally, the small salad I had as a starter was a bit too bland. I would have liked to have seen other ingredients besides the lettuce and tomatoes. One person in our group ordered a large salad plate. But according to her, this was really good. We all enjoyed the main courses. All in all, we can recommend the inn.

Exceptionally delicious food (including regional dishes, no frozen goods!), Friendly service and reasonable prices. The ambience is pleasant, the beer garden is very cozy. In addition, attention is paid to compliance with the corona rules. Really really good! Small disadvantage: There is no regional beer on offer - but the product offered from Munich is also great and goes well with the meal.

Unfortunately received a lump with boiled wasp, asked for replacement. It was asked whether the whole plate should be replaced, this was denied. I asked for a new dumpling because the rest of the food was very tasty. After a while the waiter came again and asked if I wanted a schnapps as compensation, I answered in the affirmative. I waited in vain for the dumpling.

Good beer. Very good Thüringer food! Everything was tasty and portions are pretty big. I can recommend for everyone!

Hello friends of good food. We discovered this inn last week and are very excited. The staff is very friendly and attentive, you can comfortably sit outside in the beer garden or I in the quaint, modern guest house. Quaint because, an old half-timbered house and above the inn is a hayloft, where you can eat. The card is small but really fine, because you can taste it clearly, it depends on quality and not on mass. Anyone who is ever in Eisenach should definitely stop by the stork tower. From there you can also wonderful walk to the Wartburg.

This restaurant is out of the hustle and bustle of the old city wall, has a nice beer garden and super friendly service. The food had a consistently good quality in our various visits and service and kitchen were regarding our wishes very open. We will always like to visit this place in Görlitz.

Its good , the food the great. My only problem is that the service takes too long even for drinks.

Great food

Despite the facts that out of the anyways small menu they only actually had a yet smaller fraction of dishes available and that it took quite some time to get the good, everything treated great and the staff was kind. The place also looks quite nice.
